MANGALURU A 62-year-old man and his grand daughter were murdered in their house in Hosmaru village in Puttur Rural police station limits of Dakshina Kannada in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to police, a group of miscreants entered the house and assaulted Koggu Saheb (62), his wife Khatijamma (55) and their granddaughter Sameeha (16). Koggu Saheb and Sameeha died on the spot, while Khatijamma has been moved to a private hospital for treatment, the police said.
The incident came to the notice of police on Tuesday morning. More information about the incident is awaited.
