Fruit festival in Pilikula from June 8

A two-day Fruits Festival is being organised at the Dr. K. Shivaram Karanth Pilikula Nisargadhama here from June 8.

A press release here said that the festival would feature regional fruits, including jackfruit and mango.

Besides these, different variety of fruits being brought by farmers themselves from across the State would be on display and sale.

Medicinal plants

The festival would also feature medicinal plants, fruit plant saplings, seeds, Khadi clothes, natural colour hand-woven clothes, organic food and products and agriculture equipment.

Sales of a variety of fruit delicacies as well as juices would be organised.

The festival would have on display value-added fish and fish delicacies from the Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation.
