DKMUL extends farewellto B.V. Satyanarayana

B.V. Satyanarayana who served as Managing Director of DKMUL for over seven years was given a farewell by Raviraj Hegde on behalf of the management recently.

The Dakshina Kannada Cooperative Milk Union (DKMUL) management recently extended a warm farewell to B.V. Satyanarayana, who had been its Managing Director, on he being appointed as a Director of Mother Dairy (KMF) in Bengaluru.

A release here said that Dr. Satyanarayana was DKMUL MD from October 2012 to February 2019. DKMUL president Raviraj Hegde felicitated the outgoing officer on behalf of the management and staff recently.

DKMUL said Dr. Satyanarayana had brought in several innovative measures in improving the performance and service delivery of the milk union, including introduction of flexi-packing unit, freezer unit, flavoured milk packing unit and above all, execution of the new dairy unit at Uppur in Udupi district with modern technology.

Mr. Hegde also recalled that Dr. Satyanarayana's contribution was immense in DKMUL ranking second at the national level and getting the national award recently.

DKMUL has been the fourth milk union in the State to get Quality Mark authorisation. Dr. Satyanarayana was also responsible for DKMUL adopting ISO 22000:2005, introducing submission of online demand for milk, installation of GPS on milk vans to track their movement, Mr. Hegde said.

DKMUL directors Savanur Seetharama Shetty, Kapu Divakara Shetty and Haddur Rajeev Shetty and vice-president K.P. Sucharitha Shetty and others were present.
