Financial assistance
Students belonging Backward Classes 1, 2A, 3 A and 3B categories, who are pursuing their postgraduate studies, doctorate or research work in foreign universities, can submit applications seeking financial assistance. Registration compulsory
Child care institutions need to get registered as required under Section 34 (3) of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act, 2006. Institutions should send their proposals for registrations to the District Child Protection Unit, 2{+n}{+d}floor, Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mangaluru. Reality show
Samruddi Educational and Cultural Trust will be hosting realty show across 30 districts to spot talented musician, dancer and other cultural talent. This show will be telecast on Kasturi Kannada channel every Saturday and Sunday from August 15. The show in Mangaluru will be held at Don Bosco Hall on June 30, according to a press release.
Football association gets new president
P.C.M. Asif, former captain of the Mangalore University football team, has been elected as the president of the Kasaragod District Football Association. Mr. Asif has also captained the St. Aloysius College football team.
