Muslim leaders should prevent their youth from getting involved in anti-social activities that disturb peace and create disharmony in society, Suryanarayana, the convenor of Bajrang Dal’s Karnataka, Telengana and Andhra Pradesh units, has said. “If they fail to do it, we will be forced to take up arms for our protection,” he said here on Monday. Mr. Suryanarayana said there were intelligence reports about Popular Front of India activists being involved in such activities. The government should ban the organisation, he said.
