Aloysian Literature Festival from Feb. 9

The Department of Postgraduate Studies and Research in English, St. Aloysius College, will organise an eight-day Aloysian Literature Festival from February 9.

There will be a workshop on film appreciation led by director and screenplay writer Abhaya Simha on February 9 and February 10.

A seminar on ecology and literature will be organised on February 11 and February 12.

Pramod K. Nayar, a professor from the University of Hyderabad; Nagesh Hegde, environment journalist; Naga Raju, a professor from the Central University of Karnataka; Rajendra Chenni, Director of Manasa; Shivasundar, journalist and activist; K.S. Vaishali, a professor from Bangalore University; Vijaya Kumar Boratti, a professor from the University of Mysore, and Raghunandana, poet, playwright and stage director, have been invited as resource persons, a release from the college said.
