All India Radio, Mangaluru, will host three music concerts as part of the Akashvani Sangeet Sammelan – 2019 at the University College here on October 19 from 5.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
The first concert will begin with a carnatic violin recital by M.S.N. Murthy of Visakhapatnam. He will be accompanied on the mrudangam by H S Sudhindra of Bengaluru and on the ghatam by Coimbatore V. Mohanram of Tiruchirapalli.
The second concert will be Hindustani percussion jugalbandi by Ravishankar Upadhyay of Delhi. He will be accompanied on the tabla hy Rafiuddin Saabri of Delhi and on the sarangi by Sarvar Hussain of Kolkata. The sammelan will conclude with the Carnatic vocal concert by T.S. Ramapriya of Tiruchirapalli. She will be accompanied on the violin by Adithi Krishnaprakash of Mysuru, on the mrudangam by Sreeduth S Pillai of Trissur and on the morsing by Bhagyalakshmi M. Krishna of Bengaluru.
