AAP to hold campaign for a corruption-free Ballari today

The district unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will be undertaking a day-long campaign to create awareness among people against corruption on Thursday.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, Mohan Dasari, AAP leader and Ballari district in-charge, said that party workers would be at the Regional Transport Office and Sub-Registrar office to tell people that they could get their work done without paying bribe.

“It is the first step that we have initiated and want full public support to eradicate corruption in government offices.

“We will continue organising the campaign periodically to instil confidence among the people against the payment of bribe and also to avoid middlemen. Meanwhile on Thursday, our party workers would be distributing pamphlets with help line (93425 22223).

“The party workers would also inform the people that they could call the helpline in case they were asked to pay the bribe and in turn AAP workers would take up the issue and help them in getting their work done,” he said.
