The T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) has announced a one-year postgraduate e-Governance Programme for Executives (eGPX) meant for middle- and senior-level executives from government departments and the public and private sectors for 2010-11.

A press release issued on Thursday stated that the programme was being offered in collaboration with the National Institute for Smart Government (NISG), Hyderabad, with support from the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and IT. TAPMI is the only B-school to start such a course in the country.

The eGPX will enable participants to understand the e-governance system from the point of view of various stakeholders, including citizens, business and the Government. The course includes in-class learning and an internship of 18 weeks. Admissions for the 2010-11 batch of eGPX will close on July 15.

State-of-the-art classroom technology and pedagogy is used by TAPMI.
