In order to track International Registered Letters and important documents sent to the 12 Asia Pacific countries, India Post customers could avail themselves of International Tracked Packet Service (ITPS).

A Postal Department press statement said that as no tracking facilities were available for countries such as Singapore, The Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, these letters could be tracked through ITPS. Counters at Madurai and Tallakulam Head Post Offices would be open on all Sundays. A counter would also be open at the Gandhinagar subpost office.

Public may send letters weighing up to two kg through International Registered Letter as well as ITPS, parcels up to 20 kg through International parcel, up to 35 kg through International Speed Post to major destinations. Details could be availed on the India Post website: www.indiapost.gov.in, said the press statement.
