University offers free coaching for UGC-NET examination

Free special coaching classes will be organised by the Madurai Kamaraj University here from June 10 to 16 for candidates appearing for the UGC-NET examination on June 30.

Coaching will be offered for paper-1 (general paper on teaching and research aptitude) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for seven days. Classes are being conducted under the UGC Scheme for Coaching SC/ST and Minorities.

V.Chinniah, scheme coordinator, in a press release, said candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, minorities and Other Backward Communities (non-creamy layer) could send their applications.

Model tests

There would be coaching classes for Tamil and Commerce and 11 model tests would be conducted.

Interested candidates could send their applications to the Coordinator, UGC Scheme for NET and SET, MBA Block, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai-625 021.
