Two boys were electrocuted after they had reportedly come in contact with a live electric wire in a farm at Vettukombai Thottam off Balasamudram near Palani on Saturday.
Police said that Gokul (10), son of Loganathan, and his friend Satyapriyan (7), son of Chinnaram, had been to the farm owned by Loganathan in the evening.
While walking near the well, the two boys stepped on a live wire and were thrown off. They were lying unconscious and taken to the hospital. But doctors declared them brought dead.
