Seeman and 30 others get advance bail

The Madras High Court Bench here on Monday granted anticipatory bail to Naam Tamilar Katchi founder Seeman and 37 others in a case booked against them by Tiruchi police on charges of speaking in support of the LTTE during the party’s State conference on May 24.

Allowing a joint petition filed by all the 38 accused, Justice K. Kalyanasundaram ordered their release on advance bail, in the event of their arrest, on condition that they should appear before the investigation officer at Edamalaipatti Pudur police station on June 20, 21, 27 and 28.
