MADURAI
Sandhya Rani Kure, Expenditure Observer appointed by the Election Commission of India, arrived here on Wednesday and joined her counterpart Nilay Baran Som.
The two officers have been appointed to oversee the electoral process in Madurai Lok Sabha constituency. Ms. Kure will monitor Madurai Central, Madurai South and Madurai West Assembly segments. As part of general inspection, both the officers visited the election control room and received updates on preparedness and election proceedings. Collector S. Natarajan was present at the meeting.
