RPF officer found dead

An RPF officer was found dead in the Kanniyakumari Express on Saturday. The police said that it is likely he died of heart attack.

Dhayalan (58), an RPF Sub-Inspector hailing from Chengalpet, was found dead while on duty in the toilet of an AC coach in the train that departed from Chennai. The body was spotted by sanitation workers, after passengers had gotten off the train, which arrived here at 6.30 a.m.

A team attached to the Nagercoil railway police, led by Inspector Praveen Kumar and Sub-Inspector Priya Mohan, came to the spot and conducted the investigation. No injuries were found on the body, the police said.
