Madurai Kamaraj University has yet again deferred the interview of candidates for the post of Registrar, which was scheduled to be held on November 7.

In a letter dated November 5, applicants shortlisted for the interview by the scrutiny committee were told that the interview had been postponed due to ‘administrative reasons.’

Vice-Chancellor M. Krishnan said that they would decide on a date to hold the interview during the Syndicate meeting to be held on November 7. “Members want to go through the list of interviewees and review their credentials,” he said.

The postponement of the interview has led to a flutter among the applicants as it has been delayed for the second time. The university, which had initially set September 23 as the date for interviewing candidates for the post of Registrar, postponed it citing administrative reasons.
