Bharathiyar Thinkers Forum, in a memorandum submitted to the Chairman of the drafting committee of National Education Policy, K. Kasturirangan, has suggested inclusion of lessons on Tamil poet Subramania Bharati in textbooks under the new policy.
Forum secretary R. Lakshminarayanan pointed out in the memorandum that Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu, in 2017, had urged the Centre and State to include lessons on Subramania Bharati in textbooks.
