The Preethi Hospitals launched a scheme for senior citizens here on Thursday.

Hospital chairman R. Sivakumar said that the Preethi Institute of Medical Science & Research (PIMS Super Speciality) Institute has the most recent technological advancements and experts in clinical and non-clinical areas.

With this background, the hospital proposed to reach out to more needy people, especially senior citizens in the society. Naming the scheme as ‘senior healthcare’ (Preethi Golden Age Foundation) the doctors explained that the objective was to deliver quality medical care.

At a function held here, the management also launched Sowbagya Scheme (Preethi Thirumathigal Foundation) and family doctor scheme (Preethi Family Clinic).

Prof. Gnanasambandam, R. Rajakumari, executive director of M.S. Chellamuthu Trust and Research Foundation, and Amutha Gnanasambandan participated. Psychiatrist C. Ramasubramanian, senior consultant N. Raja and others offered felicitations.

Preethi Hospital Managing Director T. Hema Sivakumar explained the salient features of the scheme.

CEO K.C. Priyan proposed vote of thanks, a press release said.
