Handwriting Wizard contest tomorrow

January 29, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:38 am IST - MADURAI:

In these days of electronic gadgets and computers, handwriting has taken a back seat and students confine it to their school activity.

In an effort to promote the importance of good handwriting skills among school students, an event is being organised by The Hindu at Mahatma CBSE Baba Building School in Surveyor Colony here on January 30.

This event, which will be held for students in two categories – juniors and seniors – for Classes V to X, will shortlist handwriting wizards.

Students can participate in ‘The Hindu Cello Handwriting School Wizard’ contest and win prizes, trophies, certificates and gift hampers.

K. Srikanth, Chief Divisional Retail Sales Manager, Indian Oil Corporation, Madurai, is the chief guest for the prize distribution function.
