College signs MoU with hospital

The Postgraduate Department of Physics of Fatima College here has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Vadamalayan Hospitals to provide practical training to students in application of physics in medical field. Jospin Nirmala Mary, Principal, Fatima College and V.Pugalagiri, Chairman and Managing Director, Vadamalayan Hospitals, have signed the MoU on February 29, according to a college press release. The MoU will help in the dissemination of technical skills through collaborative activities and set up a working group to conduct training programmes. “This collaboration is a milestone in the educational mission of Fatima College to reach the unreachable and fulfil a vision. It provides a framework for mutual cooperation that benefits physics students,” the release said. A. Jasmine, Principal, Vadamalayan Institute of Medical and Allied Health Sciences, Esther Mary, Secretary, Fatima College, S. Senthil Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Radiology Physics, Madurai Medical College and Arulmozhi, Head, Department of Physics, Fatima College, took part in the function.
