Bench refuses to quash FIR

May 09, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:45 am IST - Madurai:

The Madras High Court Bench here has refused to quash a First Information Report registered by Tuticorin police against two individuals for allegedly misleading the people by misusing the term ‘human rights’ in letter pads and visiting cards of their unregistered organisation.

Justice M.M. Sundresh dismissed a quash petition filed jointly by Jawahar and Selvarani on the ground that the allegations levelled against them had to be investigated thoroughly and the court could not come to a conclusion on the correctness of the case registered against them at the present stage.
