Bank's gesture for the less privileged

Punjab National Bank has initiated corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities here through its arm, PNB Prerana, recently.

In a statement issued in the city recently, Chief Manager of Madurai Main Branch S. Sanjeev Singla said that the bank considered corporate social responsibility activities as a focus area.

It viewed it as a channel for delivering growth opportunities for the less privileged people of the society.

The PNB Prerana, an association of women, had been active across the country.

At special school

In Madurai, it donated two exercise cycles to the YMCA Special School, besides organising lunch for its inmates. T. Latha, Deputy General Manager and Circle Head, C.A. Ramasunderan, Assistant General Manager, Tiruchi, and R. Ganesan, Chief Manager, Tiruchi, were present at the function, the release added.
