The National Service Scheme, Madurai Kamaraj University has invited applications from eligible candidates for the selection of National Youth Corps.
The eligibility conditions include age criterion of 18 to 25 years, educational qualification of a pass in Plus- Two. An honorarium of Rs.2,500 will be given during the work time and the work period runs for two years.
A press release from V. Chinniah, project coordinator, says, preference will be given to candidates who have completed degree, who have already worked as a NSS volunteer in college, who posses typing and English language skills.
Scheduled Caste/Tribe and Other Backward Classes can apply with the necessary certificates.
Applications carrying all the details including age, educational qualification should reach the Project Coordinator, National Service Scheme, Madurai Kamaraj University, Palkalai Nagar Madurai 625 021 before June 3, 2011.
