Applications invited for free power connection

The Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation (TAHDCO) in Madurai district is going to provide free electricity connections to Hindu Adi Dravidar farmers under the rapid electricity connection scheme.

A press release from C.Kamaraj, District Collector says that Adi Dravida farmers who have one acre of cultivable land, wells or borewells and have registered for electricity connection can contact the District Manager, TAHDCO at the Old Ramanathapuram Collector Office building and get their electricity connections.

The documents required include, community certificate, income certificate, photocopies of family ration card and election identity card, passport size photo, 10(1) map of the land and receipt given to the farmer by the electricity board as a proof for registration.
