The Perumbavoor police on Friday arrested a man on the charge of making lewd remarks to a woman police officer over the phone. The arrested is Mansoor, 24, of Chengamanad.
According to the police, the accused had been constantly disturbing the officer through repeated phone calls. Though she had warned him not to call her again, the accused allegedly rang her up on Thursday and made lewd comments following which the police traced him down and recorded his arrest.
