UDF releases its manifesto

: The UDF’s poll manifesto for Kochi Corporation focuses on taking forward infrastructure projects like Smart City, AMRUT project and developing a drainage master plan for the city. The document, which was released on Thursday, also promised to develop a pedestrian-friendly city, cycle tracks, women’s hotel and housing for all. In the urban transport sector, the Front has offered to take efforts for operating more DEMU trains and construction of over bridges at Vaduthala and Vathuruthy.

Facilities for solid and e-waste disposal, smart offices, e-governance and m-governance, development of solar city and a city museum are also in list.
