The Kunnathunadu police have arrested two youths in connection with the assault on a person last Sunday.
The arrested were identified as Eldho Kuriakose, 21, and Shyam Sundar, 23. The police had earlier arrested Manu, 21, and Sanu, 25, on the same charges.
According to the police, an altercation between the victim, Anilkumar, and one of the accused at a beer parlour in Kizhakkambalam on November 24 led to the alleged assault. “Anilkumar was assaulted with iron rods and other weapons at a bar on Sunday. He is now undergoing treatment,” the police said.
