Two cruise liners call at Kochi port

Two ships berthed at Cochin Port on Wednesday, making it a host to 5,408 international passengers.

Onshore visits

One of the biggest cruise ships Queen Mary 2 of Cunard Line berthed with 2,483 passengers on board and 1,255 crew members. Tour operators have scheduled onshore visits to Alappuzha and Kumbalanghi among other sites.

The second cruise of the day was Costa Neo Riviera that berthed at BTP Jetty with 1,110 passengers and 560 crew members.

Handicrafts market

A temporary market of handicrafts and ethnic items was available at the port for the passengers of the cruise ships.
