The SH School of Communication here will host the world premiere of The Indian Priest , a documentary by noted Swedish film-maker Mattais Low, here on Monday.
A faculty member of the school, Mr. Low is a film-maker for BBC and the talent behind acclaimed films and documentaries such as The Referee , Ice Carosello , Wounder Land , and All the World in a Design School . The Referee , a film based on football in Sweden, marked his directorial debut in 2010.
The Indian Priest maps the life of Fr. Raphael Kurian, a Catholic priest belonging to CMI congregation from Kerala, serving the native community in Sweden.
Documentary series
Mr. Low’s previous work Den Andra Sporten , a documentary series in three volumes had captured the lives of women football players in Sweden.
The premiere will be held at the Melesius Hall in Sacred Heart College, Thevara, at 4 p.m. on Monday.
