A graffiti on the theme Indian culture and Swachh Bharat painted by students of St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, has given a new look to the entrance of Ernakulam wharf of Cochin Port. The painting was done by about 30 students in the past three days as a voluntary work for promoting Swachh Bharat initiative.

The graffiti is expected to be an attraction in the days to come as it is on the entry and exit gate route of cruise tourists arriving at the port on international cruise lines.

The three-day-long cleaning drive at K.K. Premachandran Sports Ground area by the Civil Engineering Department was completed on Thursday.

All departments at the Cochin Port Trust carried out dusting and vacuum cleaning of record rooms, said a press release here.

Earlier on Wednesday, a mass cleaning was carried out by volunteers from all departments near the Cochin Port Trust Walkway and BOT Junction on Willingdon Island.
