Actor-director Sidharth Bharathan, who had sustained serious injuries in a car accident on September 12, was discharged from Medical Trust hospital here on Thursday.
He thanked all, including the doctors and well-wishers, who wished for his speedy recovery.
KPAC Lalitha, senior actress and Sidharth’s mother, could not control her tears when she pointed out that people from various walks of life stood by her in these tough times and prayed for the recovery of her son.
Doctors who treated Sidharth said that he responded positively to the treatment and it helped the youngster to recover faster.
Sidharth was critically injured after his car crashed into a roadside wall near Thykoodam while driving back to his apartment near Vyttila around 2 a.m. on September 12. The mangled remains of the car had to be cut open before rushing him to the hospital.
