Save GMC campaign to conclude today

The 15-day Save Government Medical College campaign organised by the Kalamassery Pauravali will be concluded on Monday. The last leg of the rally will begin from the medical college at 4 p.m. and culminate at the HMT junction in a public function.Father David Chiramel, chairman of Kidney Federation of India, will inaugurate the function. P. Rajeev, district secretary, CPI(M) and former MP, Sebastian Paul, former MP, writer M.K. Sanoo and K. Chandran Pillai, CITU leader, are among those expected to participate in the function that will highlight the plight of the medical college in spite of government takeover more than a year ago.
