Personnel of Railway Childline helped provide shelter and send back to their houses in Tamil Nadu two minors girls, who were found at the Ernakulam Junction railway station in September 2021.  They had reportedly left their house in Tamil Nadu after quarrelling with their parents. The siblings were put up at the Girls’ Home here as directed by the Child Welfare Committee. They were sent back home under the supervision of District Council of Child Welfare and the special juvenile police, said Shano Jose, coordinator of Railway Childline, Ernakulam.
