The Ernakulam Rural police have expressed satisfaction over an explanation by actor Dileep to their query on him engaging a private security agency for protection in public appearances. According to the officers, it was normal for people to hire private security agency having valid licences to deploy armed guards. The other day, the actor, in reply to a notice served by the Aluva police, had replied that he faced security threats from those who had trapped him in a criminal case.
