Physics paper evoked mixed reaction among students who appeared for the Class XII CBSE Board exam here at Toc H Public School on Tuesday. While some found the paper easy, there were others who felt it presented a tough challenge. A section of the students, on the other hand, said it was a 50:50 paper as far as scoring opportunities were concerned.

Sooraj E.P, a student of Nalanda Public School, said the question paper was definitely different from the usually followed pattern. “However, it was not problematic. Only, the application-based questions threw up a bit of challenge,” he said.

Aditya P. Shenoy, a student of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar, looked confident as he came out of the exam hall in the company of his friends. “The question paper was alright. Time was a problem and had to be managed towards the end,” he said.

For Aiswarya Menon, a student of Campion Public School, the exam was definitely tough. “There is no specific question to point out as the questions in general were difficult,” she said.

Arya Santhosh, a student of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, found the questions relatively easy with nothing much to worry about.

“One could easily score at least 55 marks out of 70,” she said.

Mini Baburaj, a Physics faculty at S.B.O.A Public Senior Secondary School, said that this year’s paper was the easiest compared to the ones from last three years. “All the questions were textbook-based,” she said.
