Over 400 students attend free eye check-up camp

An eye check-up camp conducted jointly by  The Hindu  and Ernakulam Round Table at Government Higher Secondary School, Edappally, on Wednesday.

An eye check-up camp conducted jointly by The Hindu and Ernakulam Round Table at Government Higher Secondary School, Edappally, on Wednesday.

The Hindu and Ernakulam Round Table (ERT) on Wednesday jointly conducted an eye camp for students of Government Higher Secondary School, Edappally.

The event conducted as part of Voice of Tomorrow, a project by ERT 214 in association with Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, Ernakulam, was supported by Lotus Eye Hospital.

T. Latha, Principal, welcomed the gathering and Sourabh Gulecha, chairman, ERT, addressed the students.

Mr. Gulecha told the students that it was important to have a powerful vision both internally and externally.

Over 420 students attended the camp. Suresh Pillai, assistant general manager, The Hindu , delivered the vote of thanks.
