: Three nurses at the Government Medical College, Ernakulam, who were suspended after an internal enquiry , would be sending a complaint to the director, medical education, demanding a comprehensive enquiry into the case.

The State unit of Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) would be supporting the cause of nurses in the issue as the Association president Roy K. George from Kozhikode said in a statement that the enquiry panel should have had a senior nurse, too, as it was enquiring into the professional conduct of nurses. The TNAI unit in the Medical College will hold a rally in support of the suspended nurses on Thursday.
