New barge for bunker services

: A new barge, Sanghrajka-4 , has been deployed at the Kochi port for 24-hour bunker supply services. The 1,500-tonne capacity vessel is capable of supplying bunker throughout the year and to ships passing through the outer channels, said a press release here. The barge has been chartered by Geostan Marine Pvt. Ltd. and it can carry 1,400 tonnes of black oil and 200 tonnes of white oil. The vessel was built in 2014. The new deployment takes the total number of vessels available at the Kochi port for bunker supplies to six.
