Navy chief returns after two-day visit

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba, who was on a two-day visit to the Naval Base here, returned to Delhi on Wednesday.

He attended the 64th annual general meeting of the Naval Group Insurance Fund/Indian Naval Benevolent Association at the Naval Base.

The Navy Chief also inaugurated a building for the accommodation of Single Officers and Single Sailors.

Admiral Lanba, accompanied by wife Reena Lanba, the president of Naval Wives Welfare Association, arrived here on Tuesday.

They were received by Vice Admiral A.R. Karve, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command.
