he Hill Palace Police arrested Sukanth Lima, 40, of Rayagada, Odisha, on the charge of human trafficking. He allegedly gave the slip after taking ₹21,000 as commission after entrusting a minor girl as maid at a house in Thripunithura. He allegedly told the house owner that she was aged 18. The house owner alerted the police learning that she was a minor.

The Ernakulam North police arrested a man on the charge of stealing utensils worth lakhs of rupees from a hotel on Kaloor-Kathrikadavu Road. A resident of Vaduthala, Jose, 57, was arrested by a patrol team as he was attempting to transport the stolen goods in an autorickshaw.
