Luxury hotel opens at airport

Hospitality sector in the Kochi region got a welcome addition when a new four star facility to cater to business and leisure class opened near the Cochin International Airport Limited at Nedumbasserry recently.

Flora Airport Hotel is located just opposite to the international terminal at the Kochi airport premises. The unit, from the of the Dubai-based Flora hotels group, is the first among the series of hospitality ventures planned in the country, the promoters said.

The company had entered into the customer oriented venture in 2008 by opening the Oberon -- the first ever multi level shopping mall in Kochi.

Flora Airport Hotel , Kochi was jointly inaugurated by M. A. Mohammed, chairman and managing director of Flora group of hotels India with Noordheen Babu, managing director of Flora group of hotels, Dubai and the directors of the group.
