LPG bottling operations at the Indian Oil Corporation’s plant at Udayamperoor is back to normal after a day’s flash strike by a group of workers on Saturday. The operations started from the first shift at 6 a.m., company sources said.

Trade union leaders attended a meeting convened by the Central Labour Commissioner on Monday morning and the issues raised by contract labourers were discussed.

Trade union sources said the strike had been called off and that the differences between the two groups of contract workers deployed at the bottling plant would be discussed at a meeting of the trade unions later.
