Ameerul Islam is yet to be hanged.

Mother of the Dalit law student who was found murdered at her home in Perumbavoor has said that she will go to any extent to ensure that the verdict in the case is implemented. Addressing the media here on Friday, she expressed concern over the delay in the execution of the death sentence of Ameerul Islam, the key accused in the case.

She also accused the police of failure to find out the migrant worker who had allegedly tried to kill her using a motorcycle outside her home just before her daughter’s murder.

She sought action against those members of the public who had captured her photographs using mobile phones and posted them on social media.
