KOCHI: Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) will take up the issue of four advertisement boards affixed to metro pillars going missing at Pathadipalam, with the Chief Secretary.

Power lines to the boards too were found tampered with on Wednesday night.

Rift with NHAI

The metro agency has differences with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) over the placing of boards. The NHAI had opposed it, saying it owned the national highway, and that the boards would distract motorists.

But KMRL has countered it, saying it owned the 2-metre space beneath the metro viaduct occupied by pillars. It had lodged a complaint with the police on Thursday.
