I am glad that I.V. Sasi directed my script Devasuram . It came out on screen even more beautifully than I could have imagined. But, when I conceived it, I had no idea it would be directed by him. It was late actor Augustine who spoke about Devasuram to him. I have always had huge respect for him as a director. My favourites include Kanamarayathu , Thrishna , Aalkoottathil Thaniye and Aksharangal .
I also admired him the way he handled multiple stars in his commercial films.
And I liked him for the way he respected the scriptwriter; he was unlike so many of our directors.
