: After developing the first phase of its Kochi campus to the optimum and setting a great pace for the development of its second phase, Infopark has now turned its focus to developing its IT Park at Koratty in Thrissur. Infrastructure development projects apart, Infopark has decided to do the groundwork for attracting major IT companies to the Koratty Park.

Cu rrently, the park houses 29 companies with around 600 employees. The facility—set up under the efficient Hub and Spoke model—boasts of a higher employee retention rate as compared to similar parks in other metropolitan cities, said a release.

While the existing two lakh sq ft workspace at the campus is fully occupied, work on a new 3.3 lakh sq.ft IT block with plug and play facilities is nearing completion and is expected to be ready by this May. The park has received around a dozen advance bookings for office space at the new building which is expected to generate employment for 3,000 people.
