A majority of CBSE schools in the district put up an impressive performance in Class X examinations, the results of which were announced on Monday.

As many as 163 students of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, won distinction. The number of distinctions bagged by other schools under Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan: Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad - 130; Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara - 70; Bhavan’s Munshi Vidyashram, Thiruvankulam - 129; Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar - 140; Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor - 134, and Bhavan’s Newsprint Vidyalaya, Vellore - 100.

Rajagiri Public School, Kalamassery, secured 165 distinctions. Vidyodaya Public School, Thevakkal, won 143 distinctions. Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor, bagged 89 distinctions, while Gregorian Public School, Maradu, won 89 distinctions. Choice School, Thripunithura, secured 182 distinctions.

Toc H Public School, Vyttila, secured 132 distinctions. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, bagged 143 distinctions. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Thripunithura, bagged 132 distinctions. SBOA Public School, South Chittoor, won 73 distinctions. Al-Ameen Public School, Edappally, won 164 distinctions. Sree Narayana Public School, Poothotta, secured 73 distinctions. Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School, Kakkanad, won 139 distinctions. Greets Public School, Kaloor, secured 40 distinctions.

Mar Thoma Public School, Kakkanad, won 69 distinctions. Nava Nirman Public School, Vazhakkala, secured 51 distinctions. Cochin Refineries School, Ambalamugal, won 84 distinctions. Delta Study, Fort Kochi, secured 47 distinctions.

Nalanda Public School, Thammanam, secured 40 distinctions. Cochin Public School, Thrikkakara, won 58 distinctions. Ninety per cent of students of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, Kochi, secured distinction.

Campion School, Edappally, won 83 distinctions. NSS HSS, Thripunithura, bagged 57 distinctions. St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery, won 21 distinctions.

Sivagiri Vidyaniketan Senior Secondary School, Aluva, bagged 72 distinctions. Rajashree S.M.M. School, Aluva, won 47 distinctions. Eighty-five per cent of students of Pragati Academy, Perumbavoor, secured distinctions.
