: District Collector M.G. Rajamanickam has asked officials to initiate stringent action against illegal centres offering treatment for children with cerebral palsy and behavioural issues. The move comes against a rise in complaints against such institutions operating in Ernakulam. Many parents had also complained against such fake centres functioning without proper registration by the Rehabilitation Council of India. The district administration has found that persons running such institutions had also harassed the children facing behavioural issues.
