The Ambalamedu police on Friday arrested a person on the charge of stealing mobile phones from vehicles parked in the parking lot of BPCL. The arrested was identified as Rajesh, 41, of Thirumarady in Koothattukulam. According to the police, he used to sell the stolen phones at shops in Koothattukulam, Thodupuzha, and Muvattupuzha. He allegedly has cases registered against him at Muvattupuzha and Pothanikkad stations.
