HC directive to file affidavit

A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court directed the Director of Health Services to file an affidavit regarding the facilities provided for effective treatment of snakebite at Pampa and Sannidhanam. The Bench of Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan and Justice Anu Sivaraman issued the directive on a report filed by the Sabarimala Special Commissioner in this regard.

The court made it clear that the affidavit should specify the requirements and facilities that could be made available at Pampa and Sannidhanam and other details including number of doctors and paramedical who were trained to treat such snakebite cases as well as the lab facilities.
